Support for students who are struggling quietly
Exams, competition, family expectations, social media and uncertainty about the future put enormous pressure on young people. Our psychologists understand student life, and we are uniquely placed to combine wellbeing support with practical help on studies.
If you are in crisis right now
Our classes and consultations are not an emergency service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or thinking about suicide, call your local emergency number now. In Pakistan you can call Rescue 1122 or the Umang mental health helpline: 0311 7786264 (24/7). In the UK call 999 or Samaritans on 116 123; in the US call or text 988; in the UAE call 999.
Signs a student may need support
- Changes in sleep or appetite, withdrawing from friends or family.
- Panic before or during exams, or avoiding studying altogether.
- Constant self-criticism, perfectionism, or feeling never good enough.
- Loss of interest, tiredness and low motivation lasting weeks.
- Irritability, tearfulness or comments about being a burden.
Wellbeing plus academic support
Sometimes stress comes from a real academic problem, such as a subject that has fallen far behind. Because we are also a tutoring institute, we can pair psychological support with a subject tutor, so the student feels better and catches up. Families find this joined-up approach far less overwhelming than coordinating separate services.
For parents
If you are worried about your child, start with a free call. We will explain how to talk to them, what support might suit them, and how confidentiality works for young people. Our blog also has practical guides for parents in the wellbeing and parents sections.
Student wellbeing questions
My child refuses to talk to anyone. What can I do?
That is common. Start with a parent consultation; we can guide you on how to raise it gently and offer an informal first session that feels less like "therapy".
Can you help with exam anxiety specifically?
Yes, through our stress and anxiety classes, one-to-one therapy, and practical study planning with a tutor.
